Refund & Cancellation Policy

How Blendz Marketing handles advance payments, project cancellations, milestones, and refund requests.

Last updated:

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how Blendz Marketing handles advance payments, project cancellations, refunds, milestone payments, and related requests.

This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and any quotation, proposal, statement of work, invoice, or service agreement that applies to your project.

Where a specific written agreement contains different refund or cancellation terms, that agreement will apply to the extent of the difference.

1. Advance Payments

An advance payment may be required before work begins or project resources are reserved.

An advance payment is non-refundable once the project has been scheduled, resources have been allocated, or work has commenced, unless a specific written agreement states otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

Advance payments may cover project planning, onboarding, scheduling, resource allocation, initial work, project setup, and other commitments associated with beginning a project.

2. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If a client requests cancellation before work has started, any refund will be considered according to the applicable quotation, proposal, agreement, payment status, resources already allocated, third-party commitments, and applicable law.

A cancellation request does not automatically create an entitlement to a full refund.

3. Cancellation After Work Begins

Once project work has commenced, cancellation does not automatically entitle the client to a refund.

Amounts may remain payable for work already performed, approved milestones, allocated resources, project setup, and non-refundable third-party commitments, subject to the applicable agreement and applicable law.

4. Milestone Payments

Where a project uses milestone payments, each payment is governed by the applicable quotation, proposal, statement of work, or service agreement.

Completed or approved milestones may remain payable even if the client later requests cancellation.

Any specific refund arrangements stated in the applicable project agreement will take precedence.

5. Scope Changes Are Not Automatically Cancellations

A request to change the project scope is not automatically treated as a cancellation.

Additional requirements may result in revised pricing, additional fees, new milestones, or an updated timeline.

Any change in scope should be agreed before additional work is undertaken where reasonably possible.

6. Third-Party Costs

Payments or commitments involving third-party providers may not be refundable.

These may include, where applicable:

  • domains
  • hosting
  • advertising platforms
  • paid software
  • licenses
  • APIs
  • stock assets
  • other third-party products or services

Third-party providers operate under their own terms and refund policies.

7. Advertising Spend

Where Blendz Marketing manages paid advertising, the service fee and advertising spend are separate components of the engagement.

Advertising funds paid to advertising platforms are subject to the relevant platform's policies and may not be refundable by Blendz Marketing.

Blendz Marketing cannot guarantee refunds for amounts already charged by a third-party advertising platform.

8. Recurring or Ongoing Services

Where a service is provided on an ongoing or recurring basis, such as maintenance or retainer-style engagements, cancellation will be governed by the applicable proposal, service agreement, invoice, or other written terms.

Amounts relating to services already delivered, the current billing period, or non-refundable third-party commitments may remain payable.

9. Completed Work and Deliverables

Fees associated with work that has already been completed, delivered, or approved are not automatically refundable because a client subsequently decides not to continue the project.

Ownership, licensing, delivery, and transfer of final deliverables are governed by the applicable project agreement and payment status.

10. Client Delays and Cancellation

Delays caused by missing information, approvals, credentials, feedback, content, or other client requirements may affect project timelines.

Where a client delay materially affects a project, cancellation or refund treatment will be considered according to the applicable agreement, work already performed, resources allocated, and applicable law.

11. Refund Requests

To request consideration of a refund, contact Blendz Marketing through our official contact page.

Please include relevant information such as your name, project or invoice details, the payment concerned, and the reason for your request.

12. Refund Review

Refund requests are reviewed based on the applicable agreement, payment history, cancellation timing, work completed, project status, third-party commitments, and applicable law.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.

Where a refund is approved, the applicable refund method and timing will be communicated to the client.

13. SEO, Marketing and Performance Outcomes

Blendz Marketing provides services such as SEO, paid advertising, social media, content, and other digital marketing services.

These services depend on factors outside our control.

Failure to achieve a specific:

  • search ranking
  • traffic level
  • lead volume
  • advertising result
  • revenue target
  • return on investment
  • platform approval

does not automatically create a refund entitlement unless a specific written agreement expressly provides otherwise.

14. Cancellation by Blendz Marketing

If Blendz Marketing needs to discontinue a project or service, the financial treatment will depend on the applicable agreement, work completed, amounts paid, third-party commitments, and applicable law.

Where an agreement provides a specific termination or refund process, that agreement will govern.

15. Force Majeure

Events outside reasonable control may affect project delivery or cancellation.

Refer to the Force Majeure provisions in our Terms & Conditions.

16. Relationship With Terms & Conditions

This policy forms part of the broader contractual framework governing Blendz Marketing services.

Please also review our Terms & Conditions.

A quotation, proposal, statement of work, invoice, or service agreement may contain project-specific payment, refund, cancellation, or termination terms.

Where such terms differ from this general policy, the specific written agreement will govern to the extent of the difference.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.

The current version will be published on this page together with the applicable "Last updated" date.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
